The annual event, which also included a weekend festival, is the nation’s only annual and largest civil rights gathering with over 50,000 attendees over two days. The 50th anniversary brought out over 150,000 attendees. The honorary chairs for the anniversary commemoration were Congressman John Lewis, Ambassador Andy Young, Reverend Joseph Lowery, and Martin Luther King III. President Barack Obama was the major speaker of the event. Eventfully Yours represented on the National Planning Committee, co-chaired the annual festival, and served as the point of contact for the U.S. Cabinet members and their teams.
Family-friendly festival brought together the BEST of T.D. Jakes Ministries events! MegaFest included Woman Thou Art Loosed, ManPower, Mega-Kidz and the Mega-Youth Experience. All took place over 5 days. Inspiration, Music, Entertainment and so much more. A long list of high profile local and international celebrities and religious leaders participated in the robust list of empowerment sessions and workshops. Over 100 exhibitors showcased their products and goods in the EXPO.
Eventfully Yours was retained to manage the major sponsors with activation at the event. The sponsors included Prudential, Coca-Cola, Cadillac, The Dallas Mavericks, Worlds of WOW, AARP, Liberty Tax, Home Depot, Xorbee, Orange, Christian Mingle, State Farm, and Gospel Cruise.
The oldest black chamber of commerce in the country held its 88th annual awards banquet to honor special awardees, share the past year’s successes and hear an amazing speech by the keynote speaker, Dr. Dennis Kimbro. In addition, the event is the time new board officers are installed. Over 600 guests attended the event. Major corporate partners included Wells Fargo, Texas Instruments, American Airlines, Verizon, DFW International Airport, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines Credit Union, Chase, IBM, TXU Energy, ONCOR, Coca-Cola Refreshments, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Charlton Methodist Center.

Approximately 150 guests were greeted with a beautiful wedding at the Northeast Wedding Chapel on a lovely fall day in November. The georgous bride was escorted down the aisle by both of her dads. The couple's wedding party included 14 of their closest friends and family members.

Annual National Legislative Conference was held in Dallas. The organization’s primary mission is to develop, conduct and promote educational, research and training programs designed to enhance the effectiveness of its members, as they consider legislation and issues of public policy which impact, either directly or indirectly upon "the general welfare" of African American constituents within their respective jurisdictions. Over 400 registered elected officials participated in the annual conference.
